New York is the Birthplace of all Cog Shows

Did you know that Long Island is a birthplace of dog shows in the United States? Well, Long Island is having the Dog Show-85^th Anniversary Event on October 1^st, 2017 in Planting Fields Arborteum State Historic Park in Oyster Bay, NY. Bring your family and your pup for a fun day seeing New York’s best pups show off their skills. The Westbury Kennel Association, which began early in the 20^th century, is putting on the celebratory 85^th event. The show includes over 100 dog breeds, an obedience trial, trick dog testing, and outdoor events. Enjoy the event at the Breakfast Bar. Here, you can grab bagels, donuts, coffee, and other delicious morning essentials. You can also splurge on boutique dog products and delicious dog treats from a variety of vendors. 

Also, by attending the Dog Show you will contribute to the Westbury Kennel Association. Westbury is dedicated to protecting all dog breeds and has made many charitable donations in support of service dog training, local animal shelters, and canine health research over its many years. The association conducts any dog show event under fair rules of the American Kennel Club and encourages sportsmanlike (or maybe sportsdoglike) conduct in all competition.
