Depending on the area you are looking for a condo, you may be surprised to see how many condos there are available.

There are condos that range from 2,000 Sq Ft to over 4,000 Sq Ft in most areas. If you are looking for condos that are oceanfront, and you want a large condo, the prices will be a little higher than you may expect, especially if you are looking for newer condos. Condos built after the year 2005 are generally considered newer, mainly because the newer building codes were in effect.

Most people looking for large condos are really looking for rooms not Sq Ft, meaning that they need 3 or 4 bedrooms, or 3 bedrooms and a den. If you are looking for rooms instead of more Sq Ft, you may have an easier time. There are plenty of 3 bedroom condos in all of the cities in the Broward County area, and there are also many 2 bedroom condos that have a den.

More than just size, if you are looking for a large condo in areas like Pompano beach or Fort Lauderdale, you may want to pay attention to the space configuration, There are a lot of units that are 2 or 3 stories tall, and there is generally some space that is lost because of the hallways and coridors or lofts that are in the inits, and this space is sometimes considered to be wasted space. Othere than wasted space, you should also pay attention to the room sizes, and whether each room has its own closet, especially if children are going to occupy the rooms.
