Condos must allow electric vehicle charging stations

Condo Associations must allow you too install a electric vehicle charging station for your vehicle.

Are you considerring buying a condo and worried that you will not be able to charge your Tesla or othe vehicle?
Well worry no more, because there is a Law in the State of Florida that will protect you.
Florida Statute Section 718.113(8) provided as follows:
(8) The Legislature finds that the use of electric vehicles conserves and protects the state’s environmental resources, provides significant economic savings to drivers, and serves an important public interest. The participation of condominium associations is essential to the state’s efforts to conserve and protect the state’s environmental resources and provide economic savings to drivers. Therefore, the installation of an electric vehicle charging station shall be governed as follows:
Ask your Realtor to check the details with the association. Even though you have the right, the cost may be prohibitive.
