The Pompano Beach Fishing Village is moving along.

Just to the North of Atlantic Blvd  on the Ocean in Pompano Beach, you will notice several cranes reaching into the sky. These are signs of progress.

The progress being made is the Pompano Fishing Village. For a complete up to date report, please visit: http://pointpubs.com/pompano-redevelopment/

Pompano Beach has come a long way, and is about to be a destination spot for many travelers and people looking to reside in a South Florida community that has recreation, accommodations, and amenities like golfing, fishing, and shopping, as well as fine restaurants. To see what is in store for visitors, just drive down A1A from either Fort Lauderdale or Boca Raton, and you will see a transformation taking place. You can still see the quaint motels from yesteryear, but at the same time you will notice that the beaches are nicer, and the restaurants are situated to make visitors feel welcomed to the communities. There are new developments being constructed, and older hotels and motels being refurbished, that will make vacationing still affordable for the average vacationer. If you are thinking about purchasing a condo in the area, there are still many condos available at affordable prices, with many or the Pompano Beach condos far sale offering ocean views at affordable prices.

In addition to the Pompano Beach Fishing Village, which is scheduled to be completed in 2018, the city of Pompano Beach has many recreational facilities for all times of the year. If you are into deep sea fishing, there are chartering facilities available every day of the year. If you are a golfer, the City of Pompano Beach has several golf courses at very affordable prices, including 2 municipal golf courses located minutes from the Beach area. If you like to jog, the city has a park with a 2 1/2 mile loop for walkers, runners, and bicyclists. The city's Parks and Recreation Department has Parks which offer tennis, swimming, and other outdoor activities. There is never a shortage of things to do in Pompano Beach, including a Doggie Park with sections for different size dogs.

The most famous part of Pompano Beach will always be the miles of beautiful Beaches, which are open to the Public 365 days a year, and are a great source of exercise while enjoying a sunrise, are watching surfing of all kinds.
