Florida Condo Law has Changed, and Associations must Comply

The state of Florida has recently amended Florida Condo Law which will penalize the fraud and abuses by condominium boards throughout the State of Florida. 

The new law is for condos associations that have 150 or more units. One of the major changes is that these associations will be required to issue financial reports and make them available on a website with a shared password.

The Miami Herald reported the following:

The enhanced law will also limit to eight years terms served on condo governing boards, and it broadens and clarifies the definition of conflicts of interest.

Downward With Your Dog is an event held the first Saturday of every month where dog owners and their pups come to different parks in Miami to workout. The workouts are free and are a perfect way for you and your pup to exercise together. The class starts with some running, then yoga, and lastly outdoor activities. The run/jog is 15 minutes and is led by Sweat Nation Coach Flip Aguilera, and the yoga session, led by Brian Cohen, is 45 minutes. Do you want to get in a last bit of summer before fall weather is in full effect? Well, these frozen puppy treats will have you and your pup missing the warmer days. These mixed berry frozen treats are simple, quick, and delicious for your pet. Although this recipe calls for mixed berries, you can use any fruit that is dog-friendly.

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup raspberries
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey (if your pup likes some sweetness)

Instructions:

  • Put the fruit, yogurt, and honey in a blender, and blend until smooth.
  • Pour the puree into ice cube trays (we suggest fun, cute molds).
  • Freeze overnight and enjoy the next day.
